The past 2 weeks at work had been quite frantic for me ba. I'm starting to have to learn 2 cope wif the workload jasmine had b4 I joined the company. its horrendous, sometimes having 2 face things on ur own.

but then, tks 2 my colleague lk mr chan and my boss and sometimes even the old uncle, I could manage 2 get things done. dunno whether I've repeated it b4, but they were really benevolent? nt to scold me when I got things wrong.

anyw, jasmine's given birth 2 a baby boy! wahaha. has been in contact wif her lately and she seems 2 be coping well. tt's nice.

during 1 of e days last week, I actually had 4-5 companies coming down 2 my office 4 self collection of their stuff. it sucks, having to rush in n out frm the storeroom to the main office area while picking up calls at the same time. plus i've 2 update all e cheques tt i've written to and $$ i've collected and dunno wat else...wells, i can't imagine. dun even noe hw I got thru tt day.

during last sat, I couldn't stand the untidy table any longer and became a part time maid. wahaha. I started cleaning e 2 tables I normally used. nt surprisingly, the cloths all became black aft cleaning. I can imagine 4-5 yrs of dust accumulated there.

tdy was another sucky day at work. I made so many careless mistakes!! and the worse part is, the boss had to clear the mess for me! I tried to change tis cheque to e correct 1 but it got bounced. and I calculated the wrong figure for CPF payment. then boss has to re-issue 2 cheques. the most troublesome part was having 2 bosses, so for watever signature it requires 2 parties to sign! and 1 boss's in spore while e other one's in malaysia. the last stupid mistake I made was to only remind him abt the singtel bill tdy n nw my co. may hav 2 face a fine coz of late payment. damn it!

aft work tdy, I got to sit in my colleague low's car! woohoo! i've been wanting to sit in his car for sometime coz his car's a lexus! it actually costs the same as a 3room flat! anyw, its really nice to sit into and his nokia phone has tis speaker system where he jus yells into e speaker whenever a call came whilst he's driving. jus nw I was laughing so hard when I saw him yelling into nowhere coz his speaker's nt near him. wahaha.

another sucky thing at the moment shld be my loooong CNY break. most of my frens nd 2 return 2 work on chu si while I had my break till dunno when. haiz. I wanna earn more money instead of rotting ard during my CNY break!

After so many days of rain, I actually welcome sunshine. Its so troublesome getting to work wif all the umbrellas and stuff. and I look so auntie wif all the wallet, umbrella etc in my hand when I go for lunch. hahas.

been sick for the past few days, which partly contributed to the increase in the no. of mistakes I made in work. haiz. Its either I get the invoice wrong or I shredded something tt I shouldn't.

my company had their company dinner last nite. it was quite ok ba. I was new there so I didn't dare to eat much even though the food was yummy. anyw, jumbo seafood restaurant serves good and fresh food! I really like it even though I had jus a bite for every plate?

Before we went into the restaurant, zainal and another salesman James were imitating the pregnant lady and her husband hu were holding hands. the sight was super funny coz they really looked gay. wahaha. as we were parking outside the indoor stadium, saw many stage crew ard. guess they were preparing for the sun yan zi concert rehearsal. i was hoping to catch a glance of sun yan zi but I guess I wasn't lucky enough.

There was tis girl, Gillian hu worked as a temp worker at my company last yr. I act. got a shock e 1st time I saw her coz she looked so much like yu qian's sister. for a moment I tot it was her lo. but then their names dun match wat. hahas.

anyw the 2 of us ate the least during the meal and we were suaned terribly by the colleagues. its like, all of them are guys except for the pregnant lady so obviously they shld eat more. they started diggin into the food as soon as it came. they were super funny oso, coz they were turnin the rotating plate when the deliveryman/technician zainal, was takin the food. reminds me so much of the times in beijing when e xian yue j2s liked to rotate e plate whenever a person was takin e food. hahas.

the salesmen, chan and low, made e most lame jokes ba. they asked the waitresses to place the food infront of them coz their side ate the most. anyw, I guess I was laughin more than eating at the cold jokes my colleagues made thru out dinner.

I was even suaned when I used up a box of tissues chan gave me. I had flu ma, so obviously I used up alot of tissues? low even added in, saying tt I am nt conservin the environment by using more tissues. and even low had sth to say when he saw? my sms in small font, saying tt contributed to the increase in my eye power. I was really rendered speechless lo.

I was so glad when everythin was over. and becca sort of saved me by replying to my smses so tt I wouldnt look lk a big fool stoning there. becca's sms abt her boss really amused me. lazy to elaborate. lol.

dunno if many ppl missed schooling, but I actually prefer working. there's lesser stress to cope wif and fewer ppl to deal wif compared to sch. besides the cheaper transportation fares, I actually dun miss sch. jus wondering whether tt's kinda sad. hahas. but then, schoolin can make my life more disciplined while working makes me realize tt the world out there is actually different frm wat I view of it. while u may hav the chance to stone in class, u can't really stone in the office coz u'll start making mistakes. and tt's when the trouble cums. workin life is more monotonous then schooling ba, coz I didn't really do much aft work except for watchin tv and gg online. somehow I had more stuff to do and tak part in when I was schooling.

I'm getting used to throwing my face in public. really.

the 1st incident happened tdy during work. I was walkin out frm my office towards the toilet when 5-6 dogs chionged towards me. u can imagine my reaction. i've a small phobia for dogs since young, and tt phobia gt worse when I started work. yup. I nearly ran back to my office. my boss and the uncle were surprised to see my freaked out face wif the toilet ppr stil in my hand. in the end, my boss had to accompany me to the toilet. haiz.

the 2nd incident happened when I was buying dinner. It was only when the food was right infront of me did I realize tt I didn't bring enough money to pay up. my poor mum had to turn up to help settle the mess. and she's sick. felt so bad la.

the 2nd best ting my boss did for me tdy was to let me go early and fetching me to an mrt station! i'm starting to tink lk an auntie le. everytime I see the amt deducted frm my EZ link card, my heart will ache ar! I cannot rlly tak as much trips on the mrt and bus as before oso le. haiz. gg frm cck to jurong actually costs me $0.94! sian. tt's y i'm super thankful if someone offers me a lift. hahas.

anyw, I guess I'll formally thank jason. tis blogskin was done by him. v nice. yups.

its been raining cats and dogs the whole day lately. i guess tdy was the coldest of all. tis was part of the reason why I slept for 12hrs. I guess it was tiring to slp late and wake up early everyday.

was at long john silvers wif the swiss E2 clique. the air con wind was blowing really hard at me when we were chatting, and i felt lk i was back in beijing! haiz. anyw, it was a session where we caught up wif 1 another's lives as usual. jus wondering hw often did ever1 manage to turn up when we were schooling. hahas.

we managed to take neoprints tdy too. it was a really unforgettable meeting coz 4 the 1st time in my life, siyao agreed to tak photos wif us, and yulan oso did her 1st ear piercing. the grp of us were lk watching her in the shop, and the saleslady chased us out coz tt shop was damn small, and ppl were thronging in. felt abit irritated but heck la. ltr we realized tt the view frm outside the shop's actually better than inside. the person jus used a gun wif the earring and made a shot in yulan's ear lobe. then the earring goes thru her ear jus lk tt lo. there's oso alcohol to spray and all tt. hahas.

managed to rent e 3rd harry potter movie oso! been eyeing it for sometime and its quite qiao tt i saw it inside the shop tdy. luckily the rent period's 2 days so I can watch the movie on tues.

been to nypco's concert on fri. i was shocked to find tt my apetite's really decreased, coz I could only finish the burger, 1/2 the fries and 1/2 the drink then. in the past, I could finish everything! I dunno whether its coz I had a heavy lunch or coz I was choinging for the concert. most of the seats were alr taken when we reached. some ppl even had to settle for the stairs. I realized tt there could be space for all the audience had it nt been for some inconsiderate ppl hu refused to move inside the seating row. wth. anyw, jason and I managed to find seats, wif 1 reserved for jing feng coz he'll be awfully late.

the concert was nt bad, in the sense of effects and stuff. they even hav lights on their score stands, which reminds me much of sco's concerts. but their conductor was humourous, which added colour to the concert ba. quite liked their mambo no. 5, and the percussion ppl looked enthu. hahas.

was out wif peini and aj clique ytd too. peini and I chose the wrong day to visit chinatown coz we didn't noe it was the lighting ceremony then. so u can guess the number of ppl visiting chinatown. it was horrendous. the rain jus made everything worse.

At the MRT station, the SMRT staff even had to limit the no. of ppl on the escalator. It was rlly the 1st time I saw tis happening. and anyw, I guess chinatown had changed quite alot since I last visited. there seems to be more shops tt r attractive for shopping compared to last time. tis includes those mobile stalls along the streets, OG etc.

the most silly i did was to suggest tis food centre to peini coz there was a great variety of food there. wif my poor sense of direction, I couldnt find the centre, and we ended up walkin in circles.

peini was looking for a belt, but she bought 3-4 bags in the end. lol. at CK, we were met wif an unpleasant experience. there was this chinese woman hu was trying on clothes. her daughter was bringing her new clothes wif new sizes to try on. the person in charge was lk saying tt she shldn't bring new clothes to try on coz the max no.'s 3 pieces. the woman started to talk back but it was no pt. ltr, the lady was kind enough to ask the daughter to re queue again, and it wld be her turn soon, but then the daughter replied in a rude manner to the lady. wth.

passed by lin zhi yuan be gua shop while on the way too. becca's fav ba gua. the queue's nt v long, and I nearly had the urge to queue oso. hahas. even heard the lion dance performance for the lighting ceremony durin late afternoon. too bad the back of the stage was towards us and we can't see anythin.

my clique was waiting for me in the evening. felt kinda bad. ate at piazza? near PS. it was quite a nice restaurant, wif a darkly red atmosphere? the food's nt bad and in large portions too. aft tt, we even went for swenson's earthquake. yummy yummy. guess the fats I so desperately tried to lose were back again!

i experienced stuff tt i tot i wld nv do tdy and ytd.

I got my 1st pay in my whole wide life! alt. it was only a small amt, the feelin of satisfaction's still there!

i stoned infront of my printer for 30min jus to wait for it to finish printing the address labels of my company's labels.

I spent more than 5 hrs? tdy jus to cut out the address labels

I spent abt 3hrs? trying to glue all the address labels onto the envelopes.

I spent abt 90min trying to paste the stamps onto the envelopes. (and tt's nt all)

and congratulate me, coz i nd to sign 300 CNY cards tml. (its only 300, my in-charge said)

and considering i'll nd to paste the envelope flaps, u noe wat i'll be doin tml.

and did i mention tt my typing speed is painfully slow? yup. wif jus a few clicks, my in-charge can finish typing an invoice. u'll nd to wait if i'm the one typing.

tried to make myself busy by writing all the codes and their names onto ppr tdy, since my internet connection's cut off.

it gt cut off ytd. i dunno whether my boss happened to see me sms-in online. but aft lunch, it jus so happens tt my connection's cut off. accordin to the pc, the prob's w the modem. but i couldn't find anythin wrong wif it. but then there is most prob sth wrong wif it considering my lvl of understanding towards pcs. and since there is so much dust in and ard my pc, i didn't dare check the wires. so tt's it. i can't send free online smses to ppl lk wan and becca, and i'm feelin so miserable coz there's rlly nth i can do when I've nth to do.

gt so pissed at myself tdy oso. it jus happens tt at 1230pm on the dot, my boss asked me to type sth. stupid me didn't mention tt my fren's (yulan act.) waiting for me wif the lunch. tks to her so much coz i'm always the one runnin late. and it was only 1/2way i typed did my in-charge mention tt i'm supposed to mit my fren and the boss was lk "u didn't tel me earlier?" and so, i could only talk to yulan for 30min coz i was 30min late la.

everything's either so ironic or silly. its lk either u're free till u rot, or u're busy till u go crazy. or when there cld be almost nobody popping into my company, to 7-8ppl poppin in tdy. and I'm almost the earliest everytime. since i'm scared of dogs, and since there r so many at my workplace, I am always tryin to run away frm them. and the nice uncles and guys there will try to shoo away the dogs to make me feel better. they rock mans. alt they said the dogs wun bite, but things get pretty scary when u see 2 dogs following you.

CNY break's long tis yr oso, frm 28jan to 10feb. accordin to my in-charge, its the longest break ever. I am actually feeling sad ov it coz I wun be earnin $$ when i'm nt working. i dunno y but i've become more money minded ever since i started workin.

i seemed to have lost the sense of direction in my life, coz i really dunno wat hopes i shld hav besides turning up for work 6 days a week.

anyw, its 248am in the morning nw and wan and I r still talking on msn. the convo goes ard the topic of beijing and I'm laughing my head off coz we're discussing of hw to go back to beijing again.

the tour guide will as usual still be xq, and we jus hav to book the air tix, hotels and stuff. of coz the $$ and date is another issue. 6 yrs? 7 yrs? but its a deal! anyone interested to join us? i tink i'm really gg crazy coz soon i mite tak it for real and assume tt we're returning to beijing in 2 weeks time. haiyo.
