It was Weichee's bday celebration last friday. She was smart enough to guess what we were all planning to do for her. Prior to dinner at Muthu's curry, Renmin and I kept mentioning that we wanted to listen to some repeat telecast of Wilbur Pan's interview on 93.3Fm. Apparently, that was a lie because we wrote in a dedication letter to 93.3fm and we wanted weichee to listen to the dedication. The interview was just an excuse for us to switch on the radio. I guess weichee knew that we were lying, because I never seemed enthu about Wilbur Pan before.

Anyway, Muthu's curry was nice! I simply love their curry gravy, and the smell of bbq-ed kebab made me drool. The best part was that their briyani rice was free flow. Heh. I shall go there again if I had the chance.

The bad part was, it was near 10pm by the time we finished dinner, and Renmin and I got more kan chiong about the dedication by the minute. We almost dashed upstairs where the suntec water fountain was positioned, sat down and listened. The dedication only came at 1015pm. The wait was horrible! I could have strangled Jia Hui if she haven't read out our dedication. After the thing, Renmin and I mentioned that we wanted to go to the toilet, but in actual fact, we wanted to buy a cake for wc. Hated Swenson's coz they simply refused to open their door for us when we wanted to buy a cake there. And wc saw through our trick too, but shara didn't (: To think Shara was so called in our team!

But anyway, we had a great time together and its great to know wc liked our arrangements and presents (:

How easy is it to talk to someone? An ajcian called Joyce suddenly smiled and chatted with me on the way to school today. Its nice to know that somehow, there was a connection, a bond between us. I felt comfortable when I see ajcians around NTU (:

School has been horrible, to a certain extent.

Some lucky things to note about though,

1) I've Renmin and Xinyi for company during lectures!

2) I could crap with this classmate in class!

3) I had company for all my lessons except French.

4) There are alot of ajcians in NTU!

5) I've valerie and weiling's company in co!

I guess the most horrible 'structure' about NTU is the stairs. U can practically see them everywhere?! I don't understand why I don't see lifts everywhere. :/ BUT, thanks to cecilia and shu fen! They told me that there's actually a lift at the loooooong looooong stairs leading to the north spine from the south spine! Less of stairs climbing from now on!

I've also been sending more smses and making more calls than I should ever since school started. Gone were the great jc days when I could see my clique the whole day, or wave to people I want to see in school often. Some of my friends are in faculties that are soooo far from NBS, like shara and sim wan. :(

But I guess Tuesdays are the best coz there is this 6 hr break where we could all meet up! The tuesday this week was the first time I saw wei chee after like 3 weeks in school? Its such an irony that I don't visit her in her hostel or meet her, or even see her around. She's so near yet so far!

2 hour lectures are also a energy draining activity. The 3-5 minutes break doesn't compensate the loss of my brain cells :/ The pace of stuff are also getting faster and faster. Just in your 2nd week and you're seeing teachers reminding you about upcoming tests. ARGH. I can't imagine that I'm actually complaining about 45 minutes lectures when I was in JC. What about 2 hours then?!

Lastly, I've been throwing my face in french classes. Somehow, I don't know how to answer the questions that the teacher asked me. She always had to ask for the pronounciation of my name EVERY week. I got so irritated that I just asked her to call me whatever she wants to call me. Shall not elaborate on the funny versions, else Jenna will laugh her head off again. :/ My stats teacher also had the totally wrong pronounciation for my name. Lazy to correct her too.

Anyway French lesson yesterday was more horrid than ever. The teacher took off this particular transparency without me knowing (coz I was engrossed in my mistakes) and I happily asked her why she didn't show that particular transparency. The girl beside me spoke so softly that I thought she didn't see the transparency too. Turns out that she just wanted to show me her corrected answers -_-" I happily twisted my french teacher's meaning and she must have thought that I didn't understand her. Now, I'm probably the weakest student in her class. GRRRRR. Wonder how I am to pass the following tests.

Marketing presentation this friday. More presentations coming up. GREAT.

Countdown 1 day to seeing my baba!!!!!!
