Peini once mentioned that its important to set her priorities straight (If I didn't remember wrongly hee)
I didn't realize that that phrase is the solution to the root of my problems till today. Once I set my priorities, decisions are so much easier to make. You feel that you're making a "righter" decision too. I suffered less duress because of this. heh. Sometimes, I wonder why I am so greedy. Why do I tie myself to so many stuff when I can't handle it obviously? Why do I think about things that I shouldn't be worrying, or thinking about?
Guan guan, I hope our agony is going to be over soon! and I still feel bad about the trip :(
Anyway, I went to visit Chinatown last weekend! I felt that the new year festive spirit was really there... there were hordes and hordes of people all around! The queues were also quite horrendous. You can see long queues outside Lim Chee Guan but not the other ba gua shops. hahas... I think all the squeezing and pushing made me super giddy :( 1 good point about the fair was that you get free samples!
My brother intro-ed us to this famous porridge stall in Tiong Seng eating house. The stall's called Chang Cheng zhou sth.... the aroma of the sauce and porridge was there when we approached the eating house. Too bad the looooong queue was a deterrent :( Almost everyone in the eating house was having tian ji porridge. And that's to consider that the porridge stall is not the only stall in the eating house! hahas. I shall really have to go and try it one day. I realized that there are other food stalls around Chinatown too. The food all looked so delicious! *drools* And I had my favourite zhong zhong wu xiang at food street. woohoo.
some pictures to share with everyone. found that interesting. somehow I guess you don't often see such stuff around in singapore anymore...

First picture's a stage for those old dramas that you used to see on the streets in the past. In this case, they weren't having real hua dans but puppet ones.
For the 2nd picture, a man was saw-ing a pig at a la chang stall. I was damn amazed by it. Now I know how the la chang I ate came about. hahas.
