the networking session was quite boring, but the food was nice. shall consider carefully before attending any other sessions from now on. to me, the number of employers and the companies present there makes a big difference to me. wahaha.
it was raining during the day of the event. we didnt really noe the proper path to the alumni club, plus the fact that everywhere was wet and somehow muddy, so we had a hard time reaching the other side of this road where the club was situated. from the pic, anyone can see that the club is situated on a HILL. try climbing a slope to that on a rainy day with formal wear on -_-. we alr had a once in a lifetime exciting event of trying to cross the road where there is no proper tracks at the traffic light, and cars were trying to come to u from all directions while not forgetting to splash water on u coz they were driving at high speeds -_-
eventually, we settled on climbing a small hilly path to the club, and things happened again. we got lost within 2 buildings, partly coz we kept getting wrong instructions. at a point in time, we reached the correct place, but no one believed that a networking event could be held in a restaurant so we didnt venture in to look. plus we communicated with a waitress who could only speak mandarin. communication barriers -_-
i felt super cui when i finally set down at the networking event. i think i will never ever step into the alumni club again. hahas.
